Quick-Khan Yaki adhesive tape with capsaicin
Khan Yaki is a perforated adhesive tape based on capsaicin which provides a long-lasting warming effect.
It increases skin temperature at the site of application and causes increased blood supply accompanied by increased redness leading to pleasant warm sensations.
Capsaicin has an anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory effect, so it is used as a topical pain reliever, in cases of tension and stiffness in the muscles, joints and bones.
The most common cases of discomfort are pains located in the lower back (lumbar syndrome) and stiffness of knee, hand and shoulder joints (osteoarthrosis).
Discomforts are most common in the colder part of the year, due to humidity and instable weather, so local warming of painful spots is an effective way to relieve discomforts and improve the quality of life.
1 adhesive tape (12cm x 17cm) contains 53 mg of chili pepper oleoresin (Capsicum Frutescens Oleoresin), which corresponds to 4.69 mg of capsaicin.
Apply the adhesive tape on clean and dry skin by evenly pressing the painful spot.
The effect of the tape starts 20 to 30 minutes after application, a pleasant warm and mildly tingling sensation appears under the tape. The adhesive tape should be worn until the pleasant feeling lasts, usually for 2 days. For a more intense feeling of warmth, the spot treated with adhesive tape should be additionally kept warm. It is recommended to use Khan Yaki adhesive tape in combination with Quick Russian capsaicin balm.
