Pulmint Tusik is a liquid supplement, formulated on the basis of N-acetylcysteine, propolis and thyme. The three active ingredients help with dry but productive coughs and all problems associated with inflammation of the mucous membranes of the throat and oral cavity. It is also effective in chronic cough smokers, which is complementary to its therapeutic effect. The active components calm the chronically irritated mucous membranes of the smoker’s respiratory tract and the inflammation caused by tobacco smoke, which develops over time as a result of smoking.
PULMINT TUSIK, LIQUID SUPPLEMENT OF NUTRITION
- N-acetylcysteine
- liquid hydroglycerin extract of propolis
- thyme tincture
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is used to help treat upper and lower respiratory tract diseases accompanied by excessive secretion. It directly decomposes mucus, by breaking the disulfide bonds of the mucoprotein, thereby facilitating the expectoration and elimination of secretions from the lungs. The discharge of mucus is very significant because the accumulated secretion, in addition to promoting the development of bacterial infections, significantly impairs respiratory function.
Propolis is a mixture of over 150 compounds and the basic compounds are flavonoids, phenols and terpenes. The synergy of these components in the composition of the product provides all the positive effects that propolis has on the human body. These are primarily antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, immunomodulatory, antioxidant and regenerative properties.
Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) is used in coughs and bronchitis. The essential oil and flavonoids contained in this plant have a spasmolytic and antitussive effect, while stimulating the secretory activity of the fluttering airway epithelium, facilitating the expectoration of accumulated secretion. Thyme also shows antimicrobial activity, which involves the elimination of pathogenic bacteria and fungi.
It is recommended:
- for dry cough
- for coughing with expectoration
- to alleviate all problems associated with inflammation of the mucous membrane of the throat and mouth
- to maintain immune system function
