Marisol IN ectoin gel moisturises and protects the nose mucous in a safe and effective manner, relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis and protects the nose mucous from environmental allergens by creating a barrier for their penetration into the upper respiratory tract. Allergens may be of different origin, and most common are house dust, mites, pollen, ambrosia, tobacco smoke, smog etc.
Marisol IN ectoin gel is formulated on the basis of ectoin which has the ability to surround its molecule with a layer of water build so-called Ectoin hydro complex. By forming hydrofilm on the surface of the skin/mucous it prevents the penetration of environmental particles including allergens and therefore prevents hypersensitivity reaction or the manifestation of allergic rhinitis (cold, stuffy nose, water secretion discharge, itching and redness of the nose and eyes…).
Ectoin is a compound that is naturally synthesized by microorganisms to ensure their survival in extreme environmental conditions (high temperature, high salinity, UV radiation).
This compound has the ability to stabilize intermolecular interactions in vital molecules such as proteins and lipids. This practically means that ectoin surrounds its molecule with a layer of water and builds the so-called Ectoin hydro complex. By forming hydrofilm on the surface of the skin/mucous it prevents the penetration of environmental particles including allergens which prevents hypersensitivity reaction or the manifestation of allergic rhinitis (cold, stuffy nose, water secretion discharge from the nose, itching and redness of the nose and eyes…).
It is recommended:
- For dry and irritated nose mucous with difficulties in normal physiological function
- For everyday hygiene of nose, especially in allergy season, but also preventive
- To relieve symptoms of allergic rhinitis and rhinoconjunctivitis
- During travel and stay in rooms with central heating and air conditioning
- For external use, for regeneration and to reduce the redness of the skin around the nose
- During the administration of intranasal corticosteroids, in order to prevent damage to the nasal mucosa by drying
