Marisol ectoin nasal spray solution is an isotonic sea salt solution with ectoine. It is intended for people with hindered physiological function of the nasal mucosa, as well as for maintaining daily hygiene of nasal cavities, especially in the season of allergies. Thanks to ectoine it relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis in a safe and efficient way and protects nasal mucosa from allergens in the environment. Ectoine is a natural substance obtained from microorganisms (extremophiles) that live in very unfavourable environmental conditions (high temperatures, UV radiation, pressure, salinity). Extremophiles react on such unfavourable environmental conditions by secretion of ectoine, which stabilizes cells, protects skin’s immune system and makes long-term effect of hydration. It protects the nasal mucosa from irritants and allergens, has cytoprotective effect, reduces inflammations and protects the mucosa from drying.

When should be Marisol ectoin nasal spray solution used?
- for daily hygiene of the nose, especially in the season of allergies, but also as prevention
- for increased exposure of the body to various allergens, such as pollen or dust
- for dry and irritated mucosa whose normal physiological function is impaired
- for viral colds and sneezing of allergic origin
- when travelling or staying in rooms with central heating and air conditioning
- directly prior to use of nose drops in order to rinse the nasal cavity and provide better contact of the medicine with nasal mucosa
- in combination with standard anti-allergy therapy
