MARISOL HYPERTONICA 3% STERILE is a sterile solution of sodium chloride 3%, without preservatives, in individual ampoules. Its use is hygienically reliable and very simple. The concentration of this solution is higher than the concentration of salts in the tissues, so these ampoules can be used as a natural decongestant. Due to the osmotic action, the contents of the ampoules “draw” water from the swollen parts and allow easier breathing. The ampoules can be used at all ages for inhalation therapy (with any type of inhaler) or topically, for the treatment of nasal congestion.

- Sterile sodium chloride solution 3%
The hypertonic solution acts by breaking the mucosal ionic bonds, reducing the viscosity of the secretions and absorbing water from the mucous membranes and submucosa, reducing the swelling of the respiratory tract walls. It stimulates cough reflex and secretion, eliminating bronchial mucus and reducing obstruction of the respiratory tract.
Inhalation therapy:
- indicated in patients of all ages suffering from: bronchiolitis, acute bronchitis, cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- use with other inhalation products is indicated, as adjuvant in the inhalable mixture.
For the treatment of nasal congestion:
- Tilt your head back. Carefully insert the tip into one nostril and gently squeeze the bottle. Repeat the process with the other nostril. Straighten your head to remove and wipe away excess mucus. For babies, gently press the ampoule to prevent the risk of contamination of the middle ear.
