Composition: water, simethicone (40 mg/m1), sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, sodium saccharin, carboxymethyl cellulose, citric acid, silicon, aroma.
Simethicone is a surfactant that does not have systemic effects and reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles in the chyme and mucus of the digestive tract.
This action results in the merging and dispersion of gas bubbles, allowing the released gases to be absorbed through the intestinal wall and eliminated by intestinal peristalsis.
Note: Simethicone doesn’t reduce gas production in the gastrointestinal tract itself and doesn’t alleviate conditions such as lactose intolerance or the side effects of medications that increase the formation of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract.
Gasimetin Simethicone drops are a medicinal device indicated for the treatment and prevention of dyspeptic symptoms, meteorism, aerophagia and gas-related cramps in babies, children and adults.
